A New Chapter in Youth Leadership
The August edition of the Youth Roundtable Series is focused on Envisioning a New Bangladesh. It will bring together students, recent graduates, young professionals, and organizers from across public and private universities, technical institutes, madrasahs, and underrepresented communities.
They’ll be joined by political leaders, academics, and civil society experts for a day of dialogue, reflection, and shared visioning. The goal is simple: bring different perspectives into one room, and ask – what kind of Bangladesh do we want to build together?
Through these facilitated sessions, we aim to identify common ground across political perspectives and articulate shared values that reflect the hopes of a new generation.
- Education reform rooted in equity and future-readiness
- Governance and transparency that builds trust across generations
- Foreign policy and international relations from a youth perspective
- • Opening remarks from Bangladesh Empowered and Dhaka Forum
• Facilitated breakout sessions led by youth participants
• Honest conversations with political representatives from across the spectrum
• Presentation of a youth-led vision statement based on shared values
- • A published Youth Vision Paper to carry your ideas into policymaking spaces
• A cross-generational network committed to national progress
• A model for youth participation that continues well beyond this event
• Recommendations that reflect what Bangladesh’s young generation is really thinking

This roundtable is the next step in a national conversation that began at the Empowering Bangladesh conference in April. That event brought together policy thinkers, activists, and future leaders to discuss the country’s path forward.
Now, we are continuing that momentum with a dedicated space for the voices that matter most right now — the youth of Bangladesh.
This conference aims to build connection between generations, across political lines, and into the future.
